Born Ricky Robinson on September 27th, 1986. Better known by his stage name Ric Love aka Cut-Throat Luv is an American hip hop recording artist from the Cavalier Manor neighborhood of Portsmouth Va. Born and raised in Portsmouth Va, his name came about in high school while playing basketball for I.C. Norcom. It was then that he noticed he had a talent for song writing and a desire for music. His passion came upon entering his 1st music production studio that gave him a hands on approach to chasing his dreams. In the time spent at 420 Studios Second to None, and Hood Solidified was recorded and released with label mates Ray Sosa, Prano the Youngin, Chris Cane, and Sheem Gutta as the Dream Team. Unfortanetly the Dream Team split  up causing Ric Love to become a solo artist. In the midst of recording songs he linked up with childhood friends Fred B aka Pops, Terry Hawes aka Tommy Shells, and Big Dane, forming the Coalition. One night while recording on a mixtape Ric Love was introduced to 42 Below by Decrayon aka Dee and Tommy Shells. The session that was recorded that night was so powerful and inspiring that sparked Ric Love to come up with a group called the 42 Boyz. In the beginning the 42 Boyz consisted of just one artist  which was Ric Love, Though seeing it as no problem Ric Love continued to push songs from all angles displaying his creativity, range, aggression, heart, pain, into numerous tracks that would eventually be followed by mixtapes. Ric Love reconnected with Timothy Collins aka Sheem Gutta in 2011 and presented the 42 Boyz to Sheem Gutta and he was with it. Soon after Sheem Gutta Moves to San Diego California, where they would do countless number of classic records via Gmail. The energy and chemistry of the songs were so strong it sparked interested in Mike Money, L Money, 1080 P, and Rico, which whom all are cousins of Ric Love. So like that the 42 Boyz was now a unit, now they have released the Bullshit Mixtape, and the #42 Takeova Mixtape, with the #42 Takeova Mixtape Pt. 1 on the way, Sky’s the limit for Ric Love aka Cut Throat.
