THE FEMALE IMAGE IN HIP HOP ( these are some of my own personal idea's and not the scope of the subject)..

The first female i recognize of ed in hop had to be Roxanne Shantee or may be MC lyte. So the age of 7 or 8 these girls had skills. I feel like today's image of the female artist is built around sex. Not to mention the fact the fact that every up coming model/rapper (female) is getting butt implant's lol. As a man its always a good look to watch a pretty voluptuous girl do her thing on the mic. But can a female artist succeed in hip hop with out showing her skin? I doubt it. But on the other hand we had missy Elliot who was straight killing it with out the help of a butt implant. Her skill's surpassed her sexiness. But what if Nikki minaj stoped wearing tight clothe's and got on some erykah badu type stuff would we still support her. Sex sells no doubt, but what happens when the next nikki minaj come's out and her implants is twice as big? I think overall good music will surpass any thing else. Sometimes i just wanna see artist go in raw for once. Its like yea we know you got this and that but lets see you rock with out it. i respect a female artist that's on some America's next top model type vibe and not like STRAIGHT STUNTING NEXT MONTH'S MODEL VIBE LOL.....bty any way body check for Buffy the body lately? Sure she was flashing it and shaking it etc...but she came to terms like she's woman now. She look's decent in her last few shoot's. one more thing for sure i never witnessed queen latifah in a bathing suit but yet ive met and seen the brat in a bathing suit, Elegant clothing and of course her thugged out more than me wardrobe lol...
