The league's annual summary conference is being held in Orlando, Florida. In the next three months, the NFL will develop and interpret a new rule for all 32 team fans on player safety issues. The league will expand on helmet crashes. Types of penalties to strengthen penalties for helmet crashes.
"The focus of our discussion today is how to make helmets more protective of the players' safety in the game than to use them as weapons and to reduce damage to the brain, neck, and spine of Madden Coins players. I think we have made significant progress." President Roger Goodall said.
Under the new rules, offending players will be penalized for defensive use of their helmets, with a penalty of fifteen yards. In addition, foul players may be directly expelled based on the severity of the foul. The league encourages physical and hands to defend rather than helmets. Of course this new rule applies to any player on the court and is not limited to defenders.
