NBA player Sterling Brown says he tried to remain calm when Milwaukee police used a stun gun to take him down during his arrest for a parking violation.
In an interview aired on ABC’s ”Good Morning America” Friday Chad Thomas Jersey , the Milwaukee Bucks player says police pinned him down and held his hands behind his back then used a Taser on him outside a Walgreens store Jan. 26.
An officer approached Brown for illegal parking, called for backup and six squads responded.
Brown says he gets mad every time he watches the police body camera video because he was ”pretty much defenseless.” The video was publicly released Wednesday.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports three officers have been disciplined in the arrest Tashaun Gipson Jersey , with suspensions ranging from two to 15 days.Ottawa Senators assistant general manager Randy Lee faces a second charge of harassment for allegedly making lewd comments and rubbing the shoulders of a 19-year-old male shuttle driver in Buffalo last month.
The additional charge falls under a separate subsection of the legal code outlining the violation of harassment. The new charge filed this week defines harassment as someone who ”repeatedly commits acts which alarm or seriously annoy” another person, and ”serve no legitimate purpose.”
That’s different from the initial charge Tramaine Brock Jersey , which defines harassment as someone striking or making physical contact with another person.
Lee will be formally presented with the second charge at his next court appearance on July 6.
He was arrested on May 31 for allegedly harassing the shuttle driver during the NHL’s pre-draft scouting combine being held in Buffalo. Lee allegedly continued placing his hands on the driver’s shoulders even after being told to stop, prosecutors said.
Lee’s lawyer Paul Cambria declined comment involving the second charge. Cambria did tell The Associated Press he has been contacted by another lawyer regarding the possibility of the driver launching a civil suit against Lee.
Cambria would not provide further details.
