No, you just refusing to admit that it is reasonable to have obtained without buying keys or doing quests. Like rs 2007 gold the guy in the picture, you said in another comment, "It was legit the only way to get the outfit unless you somehow had no quests done and could accumulate keys that way."
I not saying that quests can help a lot. I recommend that people who haven done Recipe for Disaster and Dimension of Disaster do them when good promotions come out because those give 2x keys per part. The questing strategy I did on previous outfits was to almost complete a quest, then save the ending for when the promo comes. What I saying is that it played little part in helping me with this outfit.
You underestimate the rest of the strategy that I outlined, which really isn that extravagant. Just a little planning and patience. Sure, luck is involved, but it not all or nothing. Jagex adds content that improves chances and opportunities.is used commonly for auto and credit cards. What is important for OP is that the median (middle) number for this 2, 4, and 5 be at least 740 to get the best rates.
They also changed the chances of winning these pieces. They used to be more common on the slots themselves, but then seemingly got moved to a red rarity and disguised as an orange rarity. For many of these outfits but not originally, they also made it impossible to win specific body parts if you already had all of that body part. For example, if you had all 3 heads,
the head slot didn get replaced with another body part in the prize pool, which would have helped your odds. That slot just disappeared, which hurt your odds. So, there was strategy with trading parts before spinning simply to improve your odds of gaining more parts overall. This was changed again around the release of Gorajan or Sentinel parts.
As it stands, for the most part, player complaints are completely justified. Plus, the fact that complaints are often not only plentiful, but also valid, vs. how few times they do things genuinely good for us, it lead the majority to completely ignore it as it still doesn make up for the overwhelming amount of times they let us down, gone silent when we needed them most, shelved things promised for ages.
