When I was contacted by Nexon a couple of decades ago, I did not know what to consider it. It was an amazing opportunity to Maplestory Mesos work on video games, something that I always wanted to do since I was a kid - and who would really pass up that? It was not long until I was hired on at the positions of Customer Support, leading efforts for Atlantica Online and MapleStory for about a year prior to being swept up from the Community group - something which has defined a massive direction in my entire life.
I can't believe how much I have grown as both a individual and an expert by being portion of the Nexon Community. Being around co-workers who've both challenged my thinking, and pushed my abilities has now defined that I am, and I am beyond grateful for their souls. We have had a great deal of exciting changes over the previous few years, and now, with Reboot, I expect all of you can find new friends and place where you could challenge yourself.
I talk of struggle, when, actually, I have been challenging myself over the previous few weeks. In what is probably among the most troublesome decisions I have made lately, I have chosen to proceed to a new opportunity offered to me, leaving from my place on the cheap Maplestory 2 Mesos Community team at Nexon, also resigning from my position since the MapleStory Community Manager. This will allow me to grow and face new challenges, but no matter what's next for me could be possible without the nurturing I've obtained at Nexon. The timing of the hits home as well, as I will be missing out on the remainder of the wonderful content we have in store during the next month, and I'll also be missing out on the opportunity to run some wonderful community events across the holidays along with you guys, as my last day will be tomorrow, December 4th.
Please do not think that my passing means you are abandoned. I am leaving the community in a location where I personally feel you're learned more than you ever have before, and our teams take all your opinions to center. If you ever feel frustrated, remember that, at the conclusion of things, we're gamers, just like you. As I hope you've seen over the last few months, doors are opening and people are always listening. In the meantime, Sabina will be around to assist all of you with my day-to-day activities, and the Maple Leaf Council and also the Forum Volunteers will still be as busy as ever. The group here is also actively working on finding someone perfect to take over to your neighborhood full-time, and I have good faith that you guys will get an amazing Community Manager shortly.
